Our school year is divided into 2 semesters:
Fall (September 14, 2020-January 30, 2021)
Spring (February 1, 2021-June 12, 2021)

There is no break in classes between the fall and spring semesters. Students continue in their assigned classes from September-June.

Observed holidays are posted on our website and you will receive an email with any vacation or holiday dates that result in classes not being held.

Tuition is due in full by the start of each session or upon registration. Students enrolling after the start of the semester will pay pro-rated tuition and the amount is due by the first class

2020-2021 Tuition:

1x per week: $323
2x per week: $637.50
3x per week: $905.25
4x per week: $1,173
5x per week: $1,423.75

We accept payment in the form in a personal check or electronic payment from your bank. If you would like to pay with a credit card, a 4% convenience fee is added to your tuition amount. If you are paying with a credit card, email info@danspace.com for a link to your electronic invoice.

If you are submitting a check, please print your children’s full name and class in the memo line. Please do not write over the routing/account numbers or the check will be returned with a request to rewrite the check.

Serendipity (age 3.5-6)
Pre-Ballet (age 6-8)
Ballet 1a (age 8-9)
Ballet 1b (age 9-11)
Ballet 2a/b (age 11-14)
Ballet 3a/b (age 12-15)
Ballet 4/5 (age 14-18)

Repertory (Ballet 4/5)
Composition 1 (age 7-10)
Modern Jazz 1/2 (age 8-12)
Modern Jazz 4/5 (age 13-18)

Inter-Generational Composition Class (mixed ages; Child-Adult)
This class offers students an opportunity to engage in the process of the creation of work, employing ballet and modern dance techniques as well as a sense of improvisation and deep critical thinking. Danspace Director and dNaga Artistic Director Claudine Naganuma leads the class.

Ballet Technique requirement by class level

Serendipity and Pre-Ballet: 1x per week
Ballet 1: 1x per week
Ballet 2: 2x per week
Ballet 3: 3x per week
Ballet 4/5: 3-4x per week

All Fall 2020 classes are held virtually on zoom

You must be a registered student with Danspace to participate in virtual classes. Registration should be completed by providing Danspace with a Registration Form and tuition for the semester or full year of classes before the first day of class.

Refund Policy

During the school year you have 3 classes to decide if enrollment is suitable. If you decide not to return, you will pay only for the classes your child attended. After the third class, there are No Refunds. Email info@danspace.com to request a refund.

Missed Classes

If you know you will be absent from a class, please email or call the front desk to let us know the date(s) you will be absent. Contact the front desk to schedule a make-up class during the semester in which the absence occurred. No make-ups will be scheduled during the final 3 weeks of the spring semester. Classes are not transferrable. Three make-ups are permitted per semester.
