*Intergenerational means there may be students of various ages in class. If we were holding these classes in person, they would be offered for students ages 10-14. However, we know many teen and adult students are looking to add an additional class during the week and/or learn choreography as a way of exploring technical training, and the levels align well with our Beginning Adult classes. Since we’re all dancing alone in our homes, we’re using these classes to explore what virtual intergenerational classes can be like. Dancing with students of different ages is a great opportunity to learn and explore in new ways. Younger bodies and more seasoned bodies move differently, brains learn differently, and yet we are all doing the same movements together – an exciting opportunity to see and learn things from different perspectives and deepen our dance educations. You are welcome to try the first class to see how it feels to dance intergenerationally!
